Live SME Series Round Table Discussion – Single Sales Tax
CGA Ontario, Minister of Small Business and Consumer Services, Direct Engagement

TORONTO, June 12, 2009 — The Certified General Accountants of Ontario (CGA Ontario) joins the Minister of Small Business and Consumer Services, the Honourable Harinder Takhar, and Direct Engagement in an interactive peer-to-peer roundtable webcast forum discussing the varying vantage points concerning the new single harmonized sales tax detailed in the 2009-10 provincial budget, taking effect July 1, 2010. The objective of this webcast is to support the SME community, defining how small- to medium-sized (SME) businesses can benefit from the single sales tax.

The discussion will explore perspective from the both business community sector and government officials. Panelists in the peer-to-peer round table discussion include:
