Ottawa

In addition to being the nation's capital, Ottawa is home to the world's longest skating rink! A strong government presence, combined with the large high-tech community located in Ottawa west , provides our members with the opportunity to demonstrate their professional skills in government, industry or public practice.

Ottawa Chapter encompasses a large part of the Ottawa Valley and Eastern Ontario. The chapter boundary extends from Pembroke to Perth in the west, to the Ontario-Quebec border to the north and east, and south along the St. Lawrence Seaway to a point just west of Prescott. Ottawa Chapter supports the professional development of its members and promotes the CGA designation through seminars, social activities and community works. Chapter membership consists of approximately 2,300 CGAs and 642 students.

Sherry Sharpe, CGA, is Ottawa Chapter's 2011-12 committee chair. If you would like to learn more about the chapter or have any questions or comments, please contact us via email at ottawa@cga-ontario.org.
