Durham Chapter
Durham Chapter of the Certified General Accountants of Ontario has had several incarnations. The chapter’s birth can be traced to the 1930s, when the chapter was known as the Oshawa Branch of the Certified General Accountants Association of Canada. In 1968, the Oshawa Branch became Oshawa Chapter of CGA Ontario with Dave Parsons, CGA at the helm. In the 1990-91 year Oshawa Chapter became Durham Chapter to be more representative of its geographic area.
Today, Durham Chapter stretches from the Scarborough/Pickering border north to Peterborough and east to Cobourg along the highway 401 corridor.
