North Bay Chapter

North Bay Chapter

North Bay is known as the “Gateway to the North” and has a long history of military importance not only to Ontario but to Canada as a whole. CGA Ontario North Bay Chapter was the second “northern” chapter established by the still fledgling Association. Red Pretty, CGA, was elected as the first chapter chair in 1969.

Geographically, North Bay Chapter encompasses a large area from Parry Sound in the south to New Liskeard (Temiskaming Shores) in the north. The chapter’s membership is employed in a wide variety of fields, including public accounting, government and business. From its humble beginnings, today North Bay Chapter’s membership includes approximately 100 CGAs and 45 students.
