Peel Chapter

Peel Chapter

Peel Chapter is CGA Ontario’s newest chapter, established in 1990 with chapter chair Lino Fernandez, CGA, at the helm. Originally part of Toronto Chapter, during the 1980s the population burgeoned in the city’s west end and western suburbs of Brampton, Etobicoke, Mississauga and Oakville.

In an effort to better serve the membership, it was decided that an autonomous chapter be created bordering Caledon in the north, Winston Churchill Boulevard in the west, Etobicoke Creek in the east and Lake Ontario in the south. Today, Peel Chapter is the Association’s second largest chapter by population with 2,400 CGAs and 1,500 students.
